1 cup sugar
1 cup honey
2/3 cup cooking oil
2 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp bicarbonate of soda
1 ts baking powder
4 cups flour

The fragrance of cinnamon and honey from freshly baked honey cookies is simply magnificent. Enjoy them with a cup of tea, coffee, or milk.

Sift the flour and add all dry ingredients - baking soda, baking powder, and cinnamon. Mix them.

Then add eggs, sugar, oil, and honey. Bring together to make a soft dough, if necessary, add more flour.

Form small balls with wet hands and arrange them on a tray with baking paper. Leave enough space between the balls as they will grow during baking.

Bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees C for 5-6 minutes. Be careful not to over-bake them.

After removing from the oven, while they are still warm, use hip jam to stick them two by two together.

Store in a closed container to remain soft.
